True Manna
John 6:50-51 - This is the bread which comes down out of heaven, so that one may eat of it and now die. I am the living bread that came down out of heaven; if anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever; and the bread also which I will give for the life of the world is My Flesh.
In December 2012, we began our first feeding program with 15 children and 5 moms being fed 3 days a week. Due to malnutrition, we also began treating viruses, fungus, and a variety of sickness. Most illnesses in Haiti are caused by lack of nutrition and the lack of access to clean drinking water.
God has been faithful and has blessed us with a partnership with Kids Against Hunger! Kids Against Hunger's meals offer all nine of the essential amino acids required for complete nutrition - something that can't be said about other typical food relief sources, such as rice or beans alone. This partnership equips us with the tools necessary to provide balanced meals and nutrition to the people of our community. The treatment of many illnesses caused from malnutrition have decreased tremendously, all praise and glory be to God! The meals provide the fuel these children need to learn and grow!
Currently, approximately 100 meals are provided every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. 300 meals a week, 1,200 meals a month... That is 14,400 meals a year!
Before any meals are served we are given the opportunity to teach Bible classes to the children AND adults! We also teach basic business classes to the parents before they get one of our micro loans. We are using poverty as the open door to the Gospel, TRUE MANNA!
With God's hand of provision, we only have to pay customs $150 per pallet. One pallet of food last 16 weeks! Challenge your friends, or family, to join you! 9 supporters, giving $50 every 3 months will help achieve this goal.
We are in the start up phase of an elderly feeding program as well focusing on the elderly who don't have care takers.

Oil, spices, & charcoal are $63 monthly
Benches and tables $100 a piece (need of 8)
Maintenance for the room and roof $50 monthly
100% of the donated money for the feeding program goes directly to the program.
